Our ideal candidate for the job should be a self-starter with strong leadership and communication skills who can motivate and inspire others. This position would be a lead teacher in our Kindergarten and 1st grade group.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following

• Maintaining a safe, healthy and nurturing learning environment
• Highly effective organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
  
• Create and implement activities to develop children’s self-esteem
  
• Closing and cleaning duties including cleaning bathrooms and mopping floors
  
• Provide opportunities for both active and quiet play
  
• Substitute for other counselors as needed
  
• Implement and ensure safety, discipline, and behavior policies
  
• Encourage empathetic and respectful feelings for others, as well as the environment, through positive modeling
  
• Communicate, in a professional manner, with families and faculty
  
• Manage classrooms according to Active Tracks standards
  

Hours

• Closing Shift 9:30 to 6:00 p.m.
  

Requirements/Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience in licensed childcare
  
• CPR/1st aid certification or willing to take class
  
• CDL driver's license or willing to obtain CDL
