Field Trips

In the afternoon, the campers participate in weekly themed lessons that incorporate a variety of science, math, and art.  We investigate different topics that are teacher and student initiated throughout the year.

For example, during our airplane unit we learned how airplanes fly including a basic understanding of the Bernoulli’s principle.  We studied planes, constructed paper airplanes, and experimented to discover which planes fly the best. At the end of the week, the campers designed their own paper airplane for our paper airplane contest.  Our upcoming units can be found here.
